India: In Sacred Flux
My visit to India in 2020 was unlike anything I had ever experienced as a traveller. Staying mostly in the South, I was surrounded by color, crowds, sounds, smells and tastes that all seemed to culminate in vast swirls of chaos. But underneath the surface, I found, was a distinct calm, a spiritual center that brought the rough exterior into a definite inner balance. Amidst the commotion, I felt a sacred energy that I had not experienced before or since. And with that, a longing to return again.
